How It Works

In exchange for donating items for the gift bags we promote your ad in our annual Bead Cruise program that goes to every cruise participant. We also share online on our website, Facebook group and in other social media outlets. Our gift bags are presented during our first event on the cruise and we go through all the sponsors with a slide show featuring your ad. 

Our participants are hobbyists, professional designers, instructors and even bead store owners! Your products are directly promoted to bead enthusiasts from the United States and Canada who love to discover new products and beads to use in their designs. 

 

The Bead Cruise Program is a professionally printed full color mini-magazine with projects, tips and beading resources for our cruise attendees.

Sponsor Levels

Bead Benefactors will donate 70 items for the attendees’ gift bags. 1/4 page color ad in the Bead Cruise Program, listed on our website and in our resources directory.

Bead Benefactors Plus same as above but donated items will fit the theme of hearts, the color red or Alice in Wonderland to use in our onboard Design Contest.  

 

Bead Buddy will donate 6 or more items to be used as prizes during our events.

New this year there will be a special section in our resources directory that includes a small image provided by you and your website address.

Due Dates and Ad Specs

All gift bag items and prizes must be delivered by 2/5/2015. 

Bead Benefactors Ad Size:
1/4 Page, 2.75”w x 4.25”h   

Bead Buddy Ad Size:
Send a square photo that is 300 dpi and at least 2" wide. 

Accepted ad files: JPG, TIFF or PDF. 

Full color, no bleed, keep important information away from the edge of the borders.

The print ad is due 1/30.

If you need an ad created we can do a simple ad for a nominal fee.  


We have full and 1/2 page ad space available, email for rates.

FAQs

1. What should I send?
We have a variety of offerings from sponsors from a single focal bead, to mini-kits, samples of products, etc. Some send the same thing for every bag, others send a variety. Some sponsors send overstock, others make items specifically for the cruise.  

2. How should I package my items?
We recommend your package include a business card. Sometimes companies include a promo code on their cards to use after the cruise. Small baggies, organza bags or items attached directly to a business card work well for gift bag items.
